MARY ORTHMANN

Advisor Assistant

Mary was born and raised in Terrace Heights, Washington, just outside of Yakima. She is the daughter of a hardworking, retired carpenter and a speech pathologist assistant. As the youngest of seven kids, Mary looks up to her parents, siblings and their spouses, hoping to be as successful as they are someday. She loves being an aunt and has been blessed with twelve nieces and nephews that are her pride and joy.

Mary attended Central Washington University where she studied business administration and specialized in marketing. At CWU, Mary was very involved with on-campus activities, serving as the VP for Clubs and Organizations and participating in several intramural sports. After graduation, she moved to Kennewick, Washington and worked for New York life Insurance Company as an agent and in a client service and operational support capacity, before accepting a position with Pacific Crest Planning.

Mary and her partner, Kyle, love the outdoors. They enjoy hiking, fishing and playing with their dog, Hemi. She also participates in city league basketball and co-ed softball. Mary loves to create art and has recently started a side-business out of her hobby to make custom signs for home decorations.

In the office, Mary is responsible for directly assisting Kyle Blodgett, one of our financial advisors. She attends many client appointments and assists Kyle with important follow-up service and operational items. Mary is also responsible for much of the marketing and branding efforts for the office. She manages Pacific Crest’s social media pages and assists with graphic design, video editing, and database management.

Once you get to know her, you’ll quickly learn that Mary loves to craft, is obsessed with chocolate milk, shares way too many pictures of her dog and is somehow related to almost everyone in the Tri-Cities.
